!Dear Members of Academia Europaea and of the Young Academy of Europe,

We are excited __to invite you to participate__ in a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering scientific excellence and collaboration between Europe and Asia. As leading figures in the scientific community, __your participation__ in the TEA-NET (Translational European-Asian Network) program can __play a pivotal role in advancing global, intercontinental research frontiers__.
\\ \\
__About TEA-NET:__ The TEA-NET program is a collaborative effort designed to bridge the gap between European and Asian researchers by promoting joint research projects, educational programs, and technological innovations.

__Founders:__ Endorsed by the __Academia Europaea__ (AE), the National Academy of Scientists Education (NASE), the [Semmelweis University|https://semmelweis.hu/english] Centre for Translational Medicine (SU CTM), and the [Chinese University of Hong Kong|https://www.cuhk.edu.hk/english/index.html] (CUHK), this [initiative|Acad_Main/News2_Archive/Translational European-Asian Network] seeks to harness the collective expertise and resources of our leading scientists to address pressing scientific and societal challenges.

!Why Participate?

#__Global Challenges__: Life expectancy is increasing, but low birth rates are leading to an aging population, straining healthcare sustainability. Scientific knowledge is underutilized, resulting in many avoidable morbidity and deaths worldwide. These are global challenges that require collective solutions through joint research and educational projects.
#__Enhanced Research Impact:__ Collaborative efforts often result in better solutions, higher-impact publications, patents, and technological advancements, amplifying the reach and significance of your work.
#__Educational Exchange:__ Benefit from student and researcher exchange programs that enhance knowledge transfer, cultural understanding, and professional development.
#__Unparalleled Funding Opportunities:__ Asia, particularly China, currently offers substantial financial resources for collaborative research. This presents a unique opportunity for European scientists to apply/secure funding for innovative projects that may otherwise face financial constraints.
