__At the [34th Annual general meeting of members|Acad_Main/News2_Archive/ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING OF MEMBERS 2022] (Barcelona, 27th October, 2022) and following a e-ballot of all members, the election of [Professor Donald Dingwell|Member/Dingwell_Donald] as Vice President of the Academia Europaea, was confirmed.

Professor Dingwell assumed the vice presidency  with immediate effect and will serve for a period of three years. Professor Dingwell continues both as a member of the Board of trustees and as the Academic  Director of the Munich Knowledge Hub.__
