!!Lisa Hellman - Biography

Graduated with a PhD from Stockholm University in December 2015, having spent time in (among others) China, Japan and UK. I then moved on to positions in Tokyo and Berlin respectively before starting my own research group at the Bonn Centre for Dependency and Slavery Studies in 2020. I was elected in international competition for the prestigious Pro Futura program, resulting in an associate professorship at Lund University. In 2022, I won a €1,8 million euro grant from the Swedish Research Council to become the PI building a research environment for early modern global history at Lund University.\\
