* 2014 -  Diploma of recognition for outstanding service as Secretary and Executive Committee Member of the European Society of Endocrinology
* 2013 - now correspondent member of Polish Academy of Sciences
* 2011  Knight's Cross of Order of the Rebirth of Poland awarded by the President of Poland for outstanding scientific achievements and services of Polish oncology 
* 2007 - now  correspondent member of Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences 
* 2009 - Diploma of recognition awarded to prof. Barbara Jarząb, member of the Board of the European Thyroid Association in the years 2006-2009, in gratitude for her contribution to experimental and clinical thyroidology by serving as the executive committee  member
