Leonelli has featured as a keynote speaker in 44 international conferences hosted by research organisations around the world, including meetings of philosophy of science national societies in France, UK, Netherlands and Italy; major research events such as the anniversary celebrations of CIDACS in Bahia (Brazil), the Philosophy of Science Association Public Forum as well as events in the history and social studies of science, data curation, Open Science and library science.   \\

Additionally, to date Leonelli has given 162 invited presentations to research institutions around the world (including Royal Society, British Academy, Leopoldina, National Academy of Science, World Science Forum, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Field Museum and several leading universities), and 81 contributed talks within international conferences or public outreach events.\\ \\
