[The Queen's Anniversary Prizes|https://www.queensanniversaryprizes.org.uk], which showcase the positive impact of research on education, the economy and wider society – are the highest national Honour awarded in UK further and higher education and are granted every two years. They are run by the Royal Anniversary Trust, an independent charity. The Centre has received continuous research funding for 18 years, and Professor Pittock has led or been Co-I in six of these fifteen projects, including ‘Robert Burns and the Scottish Economy’, one of the very few studies of the economic impact of a single cultural figure.
