Dr. Taddicken is a full Professor of Communication Science at Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany since 2014. Before that, she served as a Senior Researcher and Project Coordinator of the DFG project "Climate Change from the Perspective of Media Recipients: On the Perception and Interpretation of a Scientific Topic in the Process of Public Communication" (KlimaRez) in the Special Priority Programme “Science and the General Public" (SPP 1409) from 2013 to 2016. She also worked in the DFG Cluster of Excellence "Climate System Analysis and Prediction" (CliSAP), Universität Hamburg as a Senior Researcher from 2013 to 2014. She completed her PhD at the Universities of Hohenheim and Bamberg with a thesis on "Method effects in web surveys: Limitations of Data Quality due to a 'Reduced Communication Medium'?", for which she was awarded the Dissertation Prize of the Alcatel-Lucent Foundation.
