!!Wenyi Wei - Curriculum Vitae
\\
Wenyi Wei, Ph.D., is Professor of Pathology, and Director of the Biochemistry Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. He received his Ph.D. from Brown University in USA. Subsequently, he completed his postdoctoral training at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, which has formulated a solid foundation for his research on understanding how aberrant cell signaling events influence tumorigenesis.\\
\\
The work since his independence has built up an impressive research track record for Dr. Wei as an internationally recognized expert in ubiquitination and cancer biology research fields. He has made many milestone discoveries to provide mechanistic insights into the regulation and function of three key multi-component enzymatic complexes: APC, SCF, and mTOR, and how dysregulation of their activities contributes to cell cycle aberrancy and ultimately, tumorigenesis.\\
\\
Dr. Wei is currently the authors of over 140 original research papers and review articles, and has been invited to give lectures in numerous national and international meetings and symposiums.\\
\\
Dr. Wei has served as an ad hoc reviewer for 70+ journals including Nature, Cell, Science, etc, and also served as an editorial board member for 10 journals including Science Signaling, MCB, JBC and Cancer Research.\\
\\
Throughout his career, Dr. Wei has received numerous awards, including Kimmel Scholar (2007), V Scholar (2008), American Cancer Society Research Scholar (2012) and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Research Scholar (2013). Dr. Wei is an elected Fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) since 2015, and a National Cancer Institute (NCI) Outstanding Investigator (R35) award 2020 recipient that equips him for novel and penetrating cancer studies.\\ \\
