I am Professor of Solid Earth Physics at the University of Naples Federico II and lead the Seismological laboratory since 15 years. I am actually member of the Scientific Council of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology and I have been recently appointed as a Member of the ESA Topical Team for the development of the future Lunar Geophysical Observatory. I teach at the Master and Doctorate levels of my University, the courses of Digital Signal Processing and Earthquake Sesimology. My main research interests are in
-	Development and application of techniques for the High Resolution imaging of complex geological media
-	Investigate and model the earthquake rupture process
-	Develop and experiment Earthquake Early Warning Systems
-	Design and develop prototype of high sensing seismic antenna to be deployed on the Moon
What I estimate are my the most important scientific studies and achievements along my career are
-	The seismic exploration of Mt Vesuvius and Campi Flegrei voilcanoes with the detection and spatial characterization of their mid-crustal magmatic system

-	The very recent development of the first italian Early warning System for high speed train in collaboratin with the Italian Railways Company
Thanks again for this great opportunity and I hope to have fruitful interactions and involvement in the broad Academia activities.
