Adrian Bejan Receives Humboldt Research Award for Lifetime Achievement #
With great pleasure we would like to announce that on the 27th of June, Academia Europea member, Professor Adrian Bejan was awarded in Berlin with „Humboldt Research Award for Lifetime Achievement" for his pioneering contributions to modern thermodynamics and ”Constructal Law”- a law of physics that predicts natural design and its evolution in biology, geophysics, climate change, technology, social organization, evolutionary design and development, health and sustainability.Prior to the ceremony, on June 24th, Professor Bejan visited Wrocław by invitation of the Academia Europaea Wrocław Knowledge Hub and delivered a speech entitled Nature, evolution and purpose at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The lecture was followed by a vivid discusson among the participants.
