Professor Dieter Grimm elected Fellow of the British Academy#
Dieter Grimm, Professor Emeritus of the Humboldt University Berlin and a distinguished member of the Law section of Academia Europaea was elected a Fellow of the British Academy.
Prof Grimm's area of expertise is constitutional law (German and comparative) and constitutional theory, with a strong interest in the history of modern constitutionalism and constitutional politics; constitutionalism under conditions of globalisation, constitutional adjudication and European integration.
Prof. Grimm also holds honorary doctoral degrees (Dr. h.c.) from the University of Toronto (2008), the University of Göttingen (2009), the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre (2015), the University of Bucharest (2018) and the University of Bielefeld (2019).
