Canadian VIP Career Achievement award for Donald B. Dingwell#
Prof. Donald B. Dingwell (Vice-President of Academia Europaea), director of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Munich, has been awarded the VIP Career Achievement Award from the Geological Association of Canada
(CAC) for his lifelong contributions to Volcanology and Igneous Petrology. Dingwell is the first scientist working outside Canada to be so-honoured in the 25-year history of the award.
