Prof. Donald B. Dingwell
Professor Dingwell receives an honorary doctorate from Simon Fraser University#
Donald B. Dingwell (MAE), Director of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the Ludwig-Maximilans-Universität München (LMU)
and Academic Director of the Academia Europaea Munich Knowledge Hub, will receive an honorary degree from Simon Fraser University, in greater Vancouver, Canada. Prof. Dingwell will receive his D.Sc. in June at the Spring convocation of the Faculty of Science where he will address the graduating class.
Prof. Dingwell receives this honor from the most tectonically active part of Canada for his contributions to natural hazard and resource research. It is the 4th such honor for the Director of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich.
