Abraham-Gottlob-Werner Medal for Professor Donald B. Dingwell#

Prof. Donald B. Dingwell (Academia Europaea Vice-President), director of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Munich, has been awarded the highest scientific recognition of the mineralogical community of German in the form of a Medal, the 2019 Abraham-Gottlob-Werner Medal of the German Mineralogical Society (DMG), for his outstanding scientific accomplishments in the mineralogical sciences. Dingwell has accepted the award at the annual meeting of geosciences in German this September in Münster.
