Jinjun Chen - Curriculum Vitae#
Prof. Chen is an IEEE Fellow (Computer Society). He is also a Highly Cited Researcher (Computer Science, Clarivate, 2021~), with fast-growing citations: total 13500+, h-index 69 (Google Scholar). He is serving ARC College of Experts (Australian Research Council).
Prof. Chen got his BSc (Applied Mathematics) and MEng (Communication and Information Systems) from XiDian University, China, and PhD (Information Technology) from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. He is a professor and program leader of Data Science Platforms and Systems at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. His research interests include cloud computing, distributed computing, data privacy, scalable privacy protection. He has published 200+ papers at various high quality venues. He has won a number of ARC and industry projects.
Prof. Chen has taken various prestigious leadership roles for broad community, e.g., Chair of IEEE TCSC (Technical Committee on Scalable Computing) (2014–2017); General/PC/Steering Co-Chair for 15+ international conferences; Associate Editor for IEEE TC (2020–), TSUSC (2020–), TCC (2014–2018, 2018 Editorial Excellence and Eminence Award), TKDE (2015–2019), ACM Computing Surveys (2015–), Knowledge and Information Systems (2019–); Editor (co-editor-in-chief) for Concurrency and Computation Practice and Experience (2019–); PC member for leading conferences, e.g., IEEE ICDM.
Prof. Chen has been invited for many conference keynotes and seminar talks. He has won various prestigious awards.
