Many basic research papers have been published in earlier times, among them 3 papers in Nature (Erdmann et al., Nature 1979,278.459 and Erdmann et al., Nature 1979,282.335 and Erdmann et al., Nature 1981,294,288).

I was editor of the German standard textbook of cardiology (Klinische Kardiologie, Springer Nature) up to the 8th edition. The 9th edition (now together with Prof. Marx, Aachen) is ready and will be printed in early 2024.
