1949-1963 Paleozoic invertebrates (Devonian and Ordovician trilobites of Poland and neighboring countries, their anatomy, systematics, stratigraphic distribution and paleogeography; Ordovician and Silurian polychaete jaw apparatuses: their anatomy, evolution and relationship to modern forms).
1963 - present. Mesozoic mammals of the world: their osteology, musculature, brain structure, systematics, evolution and relationship to modern mammals.
