Curriculum Vitae#

She studied theory and history of music at State Lysenko Conservatory of Music (National Lysenko Music Academy today) in Lviv; honorary diploma in 1979. Doctoral studies at State Tchajkovsky Conservatory of Music (National Music Academy of Ukraine today) in Kiev (Prof. Dr. Wsewolod Zaderatsky). Ph.D. in 1985 in Leningrad (St. Petersburg today), her thesis being mainly on a study of music perception. 1979 – 1987 she lectured at the Pedagogical University in Drogobych. Since 1987 she has taught at National Lysenko Music Academy in Lviv, since 1991 as head of the department of history of music. Since 1995 she has been a member of the international research project "Musikgeschichte in Mittel-und Osteuropa" (Leipzig University, Germany).
