1-2.

Microscopic Models for Ultra-relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions.
By S.A. Bass, M. Belkacem, M. Bleicher, M. Brandstetter, L. Bravina, et al., Prog. Part. Nucl. Phys., vol. 41 (1998) 255-370.

Relativistic hadron-hadron collisions in the ultrarelativistic quantum molecular dynamics model.
M. Bleicher, E. Zabrodin, C. Spieles, S.A. Bass, C. Ernst, S. Soff, L. Bravina, et al., J. Phys. G25 (1999) 1859-1896.

These two review papers describe in detail the microscopic Ultra-relativistic Quantum Molecular Dynamics (UrQMD) model. The model is a tool to further develop the general understanding of the dynamics of heavy ion collisions and interactions over a vast energy range spanning from several MeV per nucleon up to several TeV. Nowadays UrQMD is very popular among both experimentalists and theoreticians, and these works are heavily cited: 685 and 459 references, respectively.

3-5.

Local equilibrium in heavy ion collisions: Microscopic model versus statistical model analysis.
L.V. Bravina et al., Phys. Rev. C60 (1999) 024904 (82 citations)

Local thermal and chemical equilibration and the equation of state in relativistic heavy ion collisions.
L.V. Bravina et al., J. Phys. G25 (1999) 351-361 (39 citations).

Local thermodynamical equilibration in central Au + Au collisions at AGS
L.V. Bravina et al., Phys. Lett. B434 (1998) 379-387 (39 citations).

These papers pioneered study of relaxation to equilibrium within a microscopic string model.

6-8.

Fluid dynamics and quark gluon string model: What we can expect for Au + Au collisions at 11.6-A/GeV/c.
L.V. Bravina, L.P. Csernai, P. Levai, N.S. Amelin, D. Strottman. Nucl. Phys. A566 (1994) 461C-464C (55 references).

Elliptic flow at collider energies and cascade string models: The Role of hard processes and multiPomeron exchanges
E.E. Zabrodin, C. Fuchs, L.V. Bravina, Amand Faessler. Phys. Lett. B508 (2001) 184-190 (41 references).

Here formation of directed and elliptic flow with and without quark-gluon plasma was studied in the quark-gluon string model.

9-10.

Charmonium dissociation and recombination at RHIC and LHC.
A. Capella, L. Bravina, E.G. Ferreiro, A.B. Kaidalov, K. Tywoniuk, E. Zabrodin. Eur. Phys. J. C58 (2008) 437-444 (45 references).

Gluon shadowing in the Glauber-Gribov model at HERA.
K. Tywoniuk, I. Arsene, L. Bravina, A. Kaidalov, E. Zabrodin. Phys. Lett. B657 (2007) 170-175 (34 references)

Charmonium production in ultra-relativistic A+A collisions was considered within the comovers interaction model with quark and gluon shadowing. Suppression of J/psi yield at LHC was predicted. This prediction was confirmed experimentally.
