Susana Narotzky - Biography#

Susana Narotzky is Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Barcelona. Her key area of research is economic anthropology and anthropology of work. Her most recent work has been a comparative analysis of ways of coping with the austerity crisis in Southern Europe, supported by a European Research Council Advanced Grant. She is a former president of the European Association of Social Anthropology (EASA) and a former Office of the American Anthropological Association (AAA).
