Prof. Gilles Brassard, member of the Informatics section of Academia Europaea, was awarded the BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Basic Sciences
together with Charles Bennett and Peter Shor for their “outstanding contributions to the field of quantum computation and communication".
