In this meeting, EurofamNet will present its work in developing and implementing a quality assurance protocol in child and family support that is expected to produce an evidence-based and culturally-informed novel model for integrated care. Feeding all national efforts into the international collaborative context, policy-lessons that advice next steps for European evidence-informed decision making will be also presented. High-level policy makers at the European level will participate in the event, reflecting on the implicatins for the implementation and sustainability of hig-quality child and family support provision in Europe. The overall objectives of this meeting are:
- To gain a better understanding of the principles, standards and indicators that may assure quality provision in child and family support in Europe.
- To analyse the situation in terms of quality assurance in child and family care in the EU Member States.
- To draft a roadmap that identifies next steps for European evidence-informed decision making that helps European institutions to reflect on the role they can play to improve the situation.
The meeting has two sessions. The first session is an open session aimed at presenting EurofamNet's work in developing and implementing a quality assurance protocol in child and family support, focusing on policy lessons that advise next steps for European evidence-informed decision making. The second session is an internal meeting aimed at discussing in more detail EurofamNet outputs and progressing on the development of a sustainability strategy, discussing next steps for the network.
