Michael Huth - Biography#
Michael Huth received his diploma and doctoral degree in physics at the Technical University Darmstadt in 1990 and 1995, respectively. After having spent some time as a research assistant at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz he went with a DFG research scholarship to the Physics Department and Materials Research Laboratory of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He returned in 1998 to the University of Mainz were he completed his habilitation in experimental physics in 2001. Since 2002 he is professor for experimental condensed matter physics at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. Michael Huth is co-founder of NanoScale Systems GmbH, a small company that develops new sensor concepts based on mask-less lithography using focused particle beam induced deposition techniques.
