Michael Krivelevich - Biography#

Michael Krivelevich is a professor with the School of Mathematical Sciences of Tel Aviv University. He specializes in Extremal and Probabilistic Combinatorics and their applications, and has written two books and more than 200 research papers. He was an invited speaker in the Combinatorics Section of the International Congress of Mathematicians in Seoul in 2014, and was elected a fellow of the American Mathematical Society in 2017. Prof. Krivelevich is an Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Combinatorial Theory Series B (JCTB) and serves on the editorial boards of several other journals in the field. He has supervised nine PhD and sixteen MSc students (as of June 2021), all at Tel Aviv University. Between 2015-2020 Prof. Krivelevich served as the Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences of Tel Aviv University.
