Mats Berdal#
Educational & Professional Background
Mats Berdal, BSc (London), DPhil (Oxford), is Professor of Security and Development in the Department of War Studies at King's College London. From 2000 to 2003 he was Director of Studies at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London. Mats Berdal is a Visiting Professor at The Norwegian Defence Command and Staff College and a Consulting Senior Fellow at the IISS. He is a Member of the Academia Europaea.
