Evgeny Evgenievich Fesenko#

Evgeny Evgenievich Fesenko graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Rostov State University in 1963.

Since 1963 he worked at the Institute of Biological Physics of the USSR Academy of Sciences. He was engaged in research in the field of protein photochemistry, in particular, the mechanisms of photooxidation of aromatic amino acids, and studied the photochemistry of visual pigments.

Since 1980, he headed the laboratory of reception mechanisms. In 1981 he defended his thesis for Doctor of Biological Sciences.
