  • 2017 - 2018 Einar Hansens Fond, Media, Culture and Fear: humanities research collaboration between Copenhagen University and Lund University on the dynamics of fear in contemporary culture. Co applicant with Associate Professor Mette Mortensen (Department of Media, Cognition and Communication, Copenhagen University, Denmark). Amount awarded 100,000 SEK.
  • 2018 RJ international research workshop Mobile Socialities 12-13th April 2018 Lund University, with Magnus Andersson and Maren Hartmann. Awarded 90,000 SEK.
  • 2016 - 2017 RJ scientific co-operation between Sweden and Germany, guest professorship. With Andersson and Hartmann (Berlin University of the Arts), Awarded 276,000 SEK

  • 2006 - 2008 HEIF3 programme ‘Digital Media’, in collaboration with Brunel Univeristy. Co-principal applicant. Awarded £160,000 (£80,000 to University of Westminster).
  • 2004 - 2005 Project Director of ‘Television Audiences and Factual Programming in Sweden’ quantitative and qualitative research project, funded by the Media Management and Transition Center, Jönköping International Business School, and SOM Institute, Goteberg University Sweden. Amount awarded £48,485.
  • 2003-05 Project Director of ‘Television Audiences and Factual Programming in the UK’ quantitative research project, funded by the Independent Television Commission (ITC) and Broadcasting Standards Commission (BSC), in association with Ipsos RSL (formerly the Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board). Amount awarded £5000. Advisory group consists of BBC, British Film Institute, Carlton, Channel 4, Five, Sky Digital.
  • 2000 - 2003 Project Director of ‘Qualitative and Quantitative Research in Television Audiences and Popular Factual Entertainment’ multimethod research project, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). Amount awarded £40,000.

Senior manager of academic research, knowledge transfer, and doctoral research across the five departments of the School. Main areas of responsibility included: management of all staff engaged in research (100), across a range of diverse subject areas (media, film, photography, music, media arts, visual arts, ceramics, and fashion). Responsibility for management of all doctoral students in School across two main subject areas (80). Responsibility for research strategy and implementation related to national Research Assessment Exercise in 2008 across three different units of assessment (art and design, media and communication, music).
