The main interest of CML lies in textual criticism; since 2003 he works for the Bibliotheca Teubneriana (see publication list). He also has worked as worked as official referee for the French series "Collection Budé" (currently as adviser of the edition of Choricius of Gaza) and has been involved in the preparation of a few editions in the series Oxford Classical Texts (Suetonius, Varro, Cato). The committee for the publication of the Opera omnia of Erasmus of Rotterdam has entrusted him with the edition of six treatises about the text of the New Testament.
