Valeria Nicolosi - Biography#

BSc in Chemistry from the University of Catania (Italy) in 2001. Ph.D. in Physics in 2006 from Trinity College Dublin, in Prof. J. N. Coleman’s group on the liquid phase processing of 2D and 2D nanomaterials. In 2008 to the University of Oxford as Marie Curie IE Fellow, becoming a lecturer in 2009. In 2012 return to Trinity College Dublin as ERC Research Professor. Since 2016 Chair of Nanomaterials and Advanced Microscopy in Trinity College Dublin, the first woman to have reached the position of Chair in the School of Chemistry since the foundation of Trinity College Dublin in 1592.
