1) Biominerals: biologically controlled mineralization in magnetotactic bacteria, synthesis magnetic nanostructures. 2) Carbonate mineral precipitation and phosphorus cycling in shallow lakes. 3) Characterization of individual species in atmospheric aerosol particles for understanding their roles in atmospheric processes. 4) Application of transmission electron microscopy techniques to environmental mineralogy problems (https://nanolab.uni-pannon.hu/en/envmin-research-group/research).
