Seidel has been on the program committee of all major international graphics conferences, such as ACM SIGGRAPH, Eurographics, ACM Solid Modeling, SMI, VMV, Pacific Graphics, Graphics Interface, CGI, EGSR, SGP, SCA, and chaired several of these events (e.g., Eurographics, ACM Solid Modeling Symposium, VMV). He has been a member of the papers advisory committees for ACM SIGGRAPH, ACM SIGGRAPH Asia, and Eurographics, and he has organized several Dagstuhl workshops.
Journals
Seidel has been an editor for IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics (IEEE TVCG), Computer Aided Geometric Design (CAGD), International Journal of Shape Modeling (IJSM), The Visual Computer (TVC), Graphical Models (GMOD) and Computer Graphics Forum (CGF) (chief editor 1993 -- 1999).
