Teaching experience
Extensive teaching experience (50% annually; lectures, laboratory lessons, field courses) at undergraduate (general biology, ecology, evolution, limnology, zoology) and graduate level (fish ecology, life history theory). Since 1991 I have supervised 44 and currently supervise 6 students to their master degrees at the Department of Biosciences, University of Oslo. Further, I have supervised 9 students to their PhD degree, and am presently supervising 8 students toward their degree. Also, I have supervised 6 post docs, and am presently supervising 2 post docs/researchers on projects financed by the Norwegian Research Council.
Research administration
I have been principal investigator on > 20 larger research projects (annual budges > 100 000 NOK per year). Presently I am project leader of one large project financed by the Norwegian Research Council. Further, I have extensive administrative experience at the Department and Faculty level (member of board and committees).
