- 2015 Founder and Member of the Steering Committee of the International Conference on Software Technologies: Applications and Foundations (STAF). Created in 2015 after the TOOLS conference was discontinued, STAF became the primary European forum for academic and industrial researchers working on topics relating to software technologies STAF is a confederation of several annual conferences ECMFA, ICMT, ICGT, SC, TAP, accompanied by satellite workshops

AITO organizes the ECOOP conference since 1987, awards the AITO Dahl-Nygaard Prizes, grants students with scholarships, and promote open-access publications by supporting journals such as JOT. Membership is by invitation only, to those who have contributed to the development of object technologies and provided valuable services to the community (by, e.g., serving as PC Chair or Organizing Chairs of the ECOOP conference).
