Directorate-General for Research and Innovation has the pleasure to invite you to participate in the virtual ‘Research & Innovation Days 2022’ event, taking place on 28-29 September 2022.

We would like to call for your interest in the session ‘The power of the Arts for people’s well-being’, which we are organizing on Thursday 29 September 2022 at 10:00–10:45h.

Arts Wellbeing

In this session, our distinguished speakers will discuss inter-connections between the arts and well-being, and in particularly how the power of the arts can contribute positively to the people’s well-being. We will also discover how the arts impact positively on citizens’ well-being and society at large, thanks also to the findings of the EU funded projects ARTIS, Art&Well-being and CultureForHealth.

We will learn more on how these inter-connections enact in the transformation of our society. How they lead citizens to face the new environment in which of the real and virtual world merge increasingly.

We count on an important participation of citizens and stakeholders as you to explore and reflect the new opportunities in the policy design and development in this field:

  • to share your thoughts and experiences about the needs in the future research and innovation policy development as regards to arts and in well-being, and
  • to discover the contribution of the EU research for the benefit to arts and well-being.

Please feel free to share our invitation to ‘R&I Days 2022’ event among your friends, colleagues and your stakeholders. You can register to this event, free of charge, by using the present link.
